Review: SynerGIS User Conference in Vienna from October 23rd to 25th, 2018 with the 3D PluraView from Schneider Digital

From 23. to 25.10.2018 numerous professional GIS users took the opportunity of information, workshops, further education and the exchange of expertise. The conference took place under the leadership of SynerGIS Informationssysteme GmbH. As an Esri distribution partner, SynerGIS supports companies in integrating a Geographic Information System (GIS) into their corporate IT. At this year’s SynerGIS conference, visitors got to know all Esri product news for their use – compact, clear and practical. News and new uses of SynerGIS products complement important trends, such as: 3D work or online & cloud technologies.

Schneider Digital’s passive 3D stereo monitor 3D PluraView was the center of attraction for GIS users during this year’s user conference, live and in use. Together with the Esri ArcGIS software, the 3D stereo monitor is a perfect hardware and software symbiosis for GIS applications. Working in 3D with a true 3D experience is possible thanks to Beamsplitter Tehnology: Two displays that are perpendicular to each other, separated by a “Beamsplitter” disk in the bisector.
