Schneider Digital at World Hydrography Day 2025 in Abuja, Nigeria

3D PluraView enables seabed mapping
From 19 to 21 June 2025, World Hydrography Day 2025 was held at the Abuja Continental Hotel (Nigeria) in conjunction with the West African Hydrographic Summit, focusing on this year’s theme:‘Mapping the seabed: enabling action for our oceans’.
This international event, initiated by the International Hydrographic Organisation (IHO), recognises the essential work of hydrographers worldwide and emphasises the importance of accurate hydrographic data for maritime safety, environmental protection and the sustainable development of the marine environment.

3D PluraView: Technology that makes the seabed visible
Schneider Digital is delighted to have its long-standing African partners demonstrate the 3D PluraView stereo monitor at this event. The innovative monitor solution is specially designed for stereoscopic 3D visualisation and offers impressive features such as:
- Flicker-free image quality
- Highest precision in depth perception
- Fatigue-free work in geovisualisation
The 3D PluraView offers enormous added value, particularly in seabed mapping, hydrographic analysis and coastal surveying. Thanks to its brilliant display, what lies hidden beneath the water’s surface becomes visible – clearly, intuitively and with impressive spatial depth.
A strong signal for ocean protection
Participating in WHD 2025 was an excellent opportunity for Schneider Digital and its partners to demonstrate the capabilities of 3D technology to an international audience and to actively shape the dialogue on forward-looking solutions in hydrography. This will result in valuable contributions to better understanding, utilising and protecting the oceans.
